About this artwork
In this granite sculpture, I've depicted a graceful pose. Her head held high, she gazes hopefully at the viewer. Her sweeping stride emphasizes the curves of her body. Since a standing stone figure requires struts to prevent them from breaking, I created them in a geometric, rectangular shape to contrast with the rounded body. The figure stands on a stone base, which I can supply upon request.
