« Art is an escape from reality. The only question is: In which direction? »
Tilo Tscheulin is a self-taught sculptor who works primarily in stone, occasionally also in metal, wood, and as a painter. His technique combines planned and intuitive approaches, using the material as a medium to explore archaic and futuristic themes, often in large-scale figurative sculptures, heads, or spiral motifs. Since 2012, he has run and managed the permanent public exhibition "Kunstprojekt Wasserhüsli" in 79585 Steinen.
