About this artwork
This is from a longstanding series of compositions I’ve created using an electronic synthesizer and display system I first designed and built in the mid-70’s. This device enables me to compose light directly from sound. Since then, I have built several versions–the most recent of which I’ve combined with contemporary computer graphics. This is a fraction-of-a-second view of a continuously changing visualization of sound in light.
This is an archival… pigment print on museum quality 100% cotton rag paper using a custom calibrated 12-color pigment ink printer. The pigment inks I use are designed for image fidelity and longevity. Each print is signed, numbered and packaged using acid free materials. NOTE: This extremely high-resolution image is available at most any size 40 x 60 inches and beyond, as well as on alternative materials such as canvas.
