About this artwork
The slaughter of this rooster inspired me to take this series of pictures. Taking the life of a living creature to eat it is very demanding. We are spared the killing of the animals that end up on our plates these days. As a result, we lose respect for these creatures. All that remains is the meat and the enjoyment. The individual living creature has never existed in our minds. Everyone should slaughter an animal once and cut it up ready for cooking.…
Then we would appreciate the meat and the living creature as it deserves.
