About this artwork
This work captures the moment when color and light coalesce into an almost dreamlike still life. Yellow star fruits and deep blue berries lie on a wooden surface, permeated by a shimmer that hovers between reality and memory. The light seems to flow from the background, transforming the scene into a play of brilliance, texture, and depth.
Based on my own photographs, I digitally compose the motifs, print them out, and then transfer them to canvas… using a specially developed transfer technique. In several layers, this creates a vibrant surface that combines digital precision with tactile depth and handcrafted texture – sensual, immediate, and intimate.
