About this artwork
The painting captures the birth of a forest on an abstract symbolic level, when the forest seems to emerge, to be born from the water surface. The organic shapes in the center of the painting create the impression of an energy flow, from which the trunks emerge as if by magic. It looks a little magical, but certainly very harmonious and balanced. The painting is painted with acrylic paints and inks using a special author's technique of patination…
and washing out colors on a structured background. The painting is part of the cycle "From Roots to Heaven" which I have been developing since spring 2025.
