Tom Hussey is an American photographer whose work explores memory, identity, place, and the passage of time. For more than three decades, he has created imagery distinguished by emotional authenticity, cinematic storytelling, and a masterful use of light to shape mood and evoke emotion.
Alongside his commercial career, Hussey has pursued personal projects that celebrate the human experience, revealing beauty and meaning in everyday life through compelling visual narratives.
He holds a BFA in Film Production from Southern Methodist University and an MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and previously worked in the conservation laboratory of the International Museum of Photography at George Eastman House.
Based in Dallas, Texas, Hussey's work has received numerous awards, including being named by Adweek magazine as one of the ten most creative people in the world, the only American and the only photographer to receive that distinction.
