About this artwork
This art piece was created from a painting. I decided to digitally enhance the piece, as a practice piece, to showcase my love of drawing, working in the digital space, and to ensure the output quality. I feel these test prints are necessary to sharpen my skillset and to try to achieve the sought after quality in this this type of art creation. A conversation inspired this piece with a gentleman who sprung up a conversation with me while I sat…
on a park bench. He was older than me by several years, and he shared unfortunate events in his life. He said he has learned to enjoy this chapter of his life because he overcame some challenges. But when it comes, I'm Ready. The image is not the gentleman I spoke with, but his words stuck with me. I had to create a face to go with those words that show life's challenges.
