The title "Migration: In order to find work or better living conditions. The wound heals but the scar remains.
I created this print from one of my drawings or paintings. You may have heard of numbered limited edition prints. I took this process further by digitally enhancing each print, making each print a unique original. Each print will look different. Each print features an enhancement, such as a watermark of a related painting I created or… a complimentary piece of art as an enhancement. Viewers of my prints enjoy comparing and seeing the differences between the prints.
This print is a canvas giclee. A canvas giclee is an archival pigment printing process on 100% acid-free canvas, a lignin-free heavyweight cotton-poly blend with a matte, non-reflective surface. The print is hand-stretched around custom-cut basswood stretcher bars in the traditional gallery-wrap style.
