Uncertainty as space - my painting follows intuition.
Born on May 29, 1975, in Germany, I live and work in my studio in southern Germany. After completing my training as a state-certified graphic designer, I have worked as a freelance illustrator for publishers for over twenty years. In addition to my illustrative work, I also dedicate myself to painting.
Abstraction is central to my artistic practice – an open space where color becomes sensation, surface becomes memory, and gesture becomes a language beyond words. Colors, textures, and layers break free from their functional roles and begin to develop a life of their own. They encounter one another, create contrasts, attract each other, and enter into a silent dialogue between tension and harmony.
Uncertainty is the space from which my painting emerges. Thus, my painting becomes a silent encounter between material and emotion, between the work and the viewer.
