About this artwork
In this piece, I've created a dynamic balance between vintage charm and expressive abstraction using acrylics, paint, and tape. The colors convey both energy and tranquility, inviting the viewer to let emotions flow freely. I deliberately gave the work a worn, rough texture to emphasize the raw character of the V series. Everything is subject to transience and leaves its mark in its own way. The surface of this piece prepares the viewer to discover… individual traces of use, artificially incorporated into the texture. It brings an organic vibrancy and creative freshness to any space, an invitation to dream and explore, constantly revealing new perspectives.
The work was exhibited by the Domio Gallery in London from February 6th to March 5th, 2026.
After training as a graphic designer, he turned to abstract painting. For over twenty years, he has worked as a freelance illustrator, combining painting with a spirit of artistic experimentation. In the tension between his origins and the present, he discovered the dynamism and complexity of abstraction, whose energy flows into his work like the quiet power of thought. This interplay continues to shape his work: nature and everyday life, movement and stillness, density and emptiness stand in contrast to one another and find a delicate balance in his compositions. His works move between color field painting and experimental representations. Through the conscious choice of diverse materials, he intensifies the feeling of transience and the almost inconspicuous. High-contrast combinations of color fields, layers, and textures create multi-layered pictorial spaces in which color, form, and structure unite in a poetic harmony.
