About this artwork
In this work, I merged acrylic and spray to create a semi-abstract and figurative harmony, touched with expressionism. I play with contrasts and emotions, capturing human complexity. The flowing lines dialogue with the bold graphic elements, inviting reflection on identity and connection. This piece will bring a wave of energy and character to any space, sparking curiosity and admiration.

« I like to represent the movement of the body while playing on sensitive emotional chords. »
Tropel is a French painter who hails from Rouen and has exhibited nationally as well as in Luxembourg and Belgium. His works are oriented towards suggestion and his approach is focused on the language and expression of the body. Inspired by calligraphy, he translates movement, gestures and lines through the deformation of the body, in order to extract ‘the essential’. Tropel works mainly with acrylic paints, as they challenge him to work in a quick and spontaneous manner.
