In this work, I explored the intimacy of souls intertwined with bold lines, revealing the hidden nuances of our identities. I chose acrylic and spray paint to capture the ephemeral essence of fleeting emotions, half-figurative, half-abstract, each brushstroke evoking modern expressionism. You will feel the lively, thoughtful energy this work will bring, a visual dialogue that will constantly stimulate thought and imagination.

« I like to represent the movement of the body while playing on sensitive emotional chords. »
Tropel is a French painter who hails from Rouen and has exhibited nationally as well as in Luxembourg and Belgium. His works are oriented towards suggestion and his approach is focused on the language and expression of the body. Inspired by calligraphy, he translates movement, gestures and lines through the deformation of the body, in order to extract ‘the essential’. Tropel works mainly with acrylic paints, as they challenge him to work in a quick and spontaneous manner.
