My works in bog oak are a tribute to the permanence of life and the power of human connection. The bog oak itself, hardened and stained deep black over millennia in the mire, symbolizes the shared burden and joy: life in its deepest valleys and highest peaks.
Every fiber of this rare wood speaks of both transience and eternity. Works like "We Bear Together" are created to serve as tangible anchors of solidarity. They remind us that we can only… weather storms because we support one another.
By reducing the form to its essence, I want to convey the feeling that shared paths are deeper and more fulfilling. It is an artistic world that invites reflection on relationships and mutual strength.
