Dal lake in Srinagar, Kashmir is one of the most well-known lakes of India. A Shikara ride (Shikaras are long boats) in Dal Lake provides a unique way to experience the beauty of Kashmir, with its old-world charm. I was at Dal lake a couple of years ago, when the sun was going down and it was magical.
