About this artwork
In quasi tutta la mia produzione artistica visiva, sia "antica" che "moderna", vi e' un costante riferimento alle presenze o entita' aliene, entita' spirituali, entita' divine, che con i loro Vimana, come secondo la tradizione induista, si manifestano ogni tanto ai nostri occhi profani. Cosicche' anche in quest'ultima opera ricorre tale riferimento. L'unica peculiarita' pero' e' che nel dipinto abbiamo la rappresentazione di una borgata o periferia…
romana, probabilmente di diversi decenni fa ed allora abbiamo immaginato o fantasticato che proprio il grande Pasolini possa essere stato spettatore, in quel tempo indeterminato, di quello scenario surreale raffigurato in questo dipinto .
