About this artwork
This painting was created in my garden in mid-May. Every year I am fascinated by the blossoms of this special iris. Its flowers shine most intensely in the morning, so I began the painting in the morning and worked on it until the evening. The light changed colors and shapes during the day, and this painting summarizes the mood in the garden on that day. My style is expressionistic.
