About this artwork
This picture is an abstract plein air study in which I captured the vitality and beauty of a summer day. I set up the easel in my own garden on a warm, sunny day in July. I expressively implemented the colors and shapes of the garden landscape with the bright colors of the yellow, white and violet flowers, surrounded by the variety of green tones. an expression of joy and an invitation to immerse yourself in the deep, vibrant colors. The canvas is hand-stretched onto the stretcher frame and primed three times. The suspension consists of a steel cable. The picture can be hung up directly, the edges of the stretcher frame are colored. My signature is on the front.

Ute Meyer is a German artist whose work has been recognized nationally and internationally, including in Denmark and the USA. She captures the special mood of the day in her pictures.
