breathing difference
This work on paper exudes tranquility; it appears still, minimalist, and almost meditative.
The six depicted fields appear like fragments, like sections of a continuum.
Fine pencil lines do not strictly define the fields. Their subtle movement and overlapping patterns allow the fields to interact. This creates not a grid-like order, but a vibrant interplay. Each field possesses its… own atmosphere. Some appear transparent and open, while others condense into dark horizontals. As a result, the eye is constantly drawn between the fields. The whiteness of the paper plays just as important a role as the color. A sense of spaciousness and a light, floating quality emerges. This work explores the difference within a shared field.

« When I'm in the process, I do not think. I let the process guide me. »
They reveal the conditions under which form – and thus reality – comes into being. What remains is not an image, but a trace of becoming.
