About this artwork
Splitting, splitting - in the picture an analogy to processes in nature, frozen at the moment, almost like a formula that touches. Memories come alive. Structures on the beach? Sea wind that moves and shifts, forms that are exposed. The diagonal movement appears powerfully inscribed. From left to right, it runs through the entire image - a flow without limit. The whole in reduced colors, in finely graded tones, associate the earth, air and water.…
The middle is light. Like a clip, it separates and connects at the same time.

Today the German painter and graphic artist Uwe Beyer, born in 1959, lives and works in Coswig, near Dresden as well as in Dusseldorf. After training and working at the Meissner Porzellanmanufaktur (1976 - 1988), he studied at the Burg Giebichstein Kunsthochschule in Halle (1988 - 1993). He traveled to numerous countries (Venice, Istanbul, Damascus, Jordan ...) for study purposes and holds several teaching assignments - currently for art and design at the TÜV Rheinland private school in Düsseldorf.
