About this artwork
I painted this picture after a mountain hike at Lake Gosau, where I also painted the Dachstein (Dachstein 2995m, Upper Austria) from my own photo.
In this work, I tried to capture the majestic tranquility of the mountains and the delicate magic of a sunset. The rich colors give the scene depth and life, while the flowing colors of the sky create a dreamy atmosphere. I wanted this image to bring the power of nature into your home and invite you… to dream and unwind.
The painting is primed and coated with a glossy varnish for protection and better color brilliance.
I only used colored pencils and graphite pencils for preliminary sketches and then painted over them with acrylic paint.
Since the edges are also painted, the painting can be hung without a picture frame.
Price is negotiable!!!
