About this artwork
In this work, I explored the bold and revolutionary energy of pop art with passionate brushstrokes in acrylic. Black tears contrast with pale skin to capture an intense mix of emotions, highlighted by bright red lips and the symbolic lightning bolt. This painting embodies resilience in the face of adversity, adding a touch of rebellious power to any space.

Coming from the mentorship of Jean Zuber and inspired by daily life, Vanessa Devêvre expresses herself through oil and acrylic. With the use of ancient techniques such as glazing and contemporary collages, his figurative gestures capture the ephemeral. His works vibrate with authentic emotions, reflecting the humanity and urgency of the present moment.
