Spirits of the Volcano evokes the earth’s internal energy -a moment where raw force is held just beneath the surface. The composition suggests pressure and containment, capturing the stillness that precedes transformation.
The surface is built gradually in layered pigments, allowing cracks and shifts to emerge like cooling lava. Beneath the dark, hardened crust, a muted orange glow remains present -restrained, yet alive.
The work reflects the moment… before eruption, when strength is concentrated rather than released. It becomes a meditation on latent power, inner movement, and the quiet intensity that exists just before change reshapes everything it touches.
