About this artwork
The woman in the World painting is the same character as the Fool. Now she has completed her journey, overcome the ego, she has become calm, wise and beautiful. Well, maybe not beautiful, but she doesn't care. Her head is covered with fragile flower tentacles all over the Cosmos, she lives and breathes for eternity. She is life itself, energy itself, the beginning and the end.
If you have seen the World, look no further, it doesn't get any better… than this. Merge with the colour blue and be at peace.
Fascinated by the discovery of Tarot universe in summer 2023, I decided to draw my own Tarot collection as a series of large scale watercolor paintings.
Like so many artists before me, I have started my Tarot series with the characters from Major Arcana. I'm fascinated with the idea of a visual system for explaining our intertwined macrocosm and the strange patterns of human life.
