About this artwork
In this small, minimalist series, Jochum deals with the different temperatures of the colors and the effects of a very reduced color palette. She is concerned with incorporating a touch of color into an otherwise monochromatic work. This second small painting does not appear as filigree as the first and the color is also a bit more dominant. The complete series consists of six paintings that harmonize very well and work wonderfully together as an ensemble, yet each individual work is independent and stands on its own.
