About this artwork
This work depicts a single autumn aster in a reduced, almost ethereal pictorial space. The intensely pink blossoms seem to emerge from a cool, muted background – delicate yet self-assured.
The composition isolates the plant from its natural environment, transforming it into a still portrait. A tension arises between sharpness and resolution: details of the blossoms contrast with softly flowing, almost misty areas.
Thus, the aster becomes not… only a botanical motif, but also a symbol of transition and transience – a quiet moment between bloom and decay, captured in a clear, contemporary visual language.
The work invites the viewer to reconsider the quiet intensity of late summer and to consciously perceive the power of subtle color nuances.
Prints on aluminum composite panel (Dibond), available in many formats, and on other materials such as plexiglass or wood; framing also possible. Hanging hardware included.
