About this artwork
I like to collect images, photos, plans... I like to recompose a new image by bringing together very different worlds from photos that I take or other images. The telescoping of these sometimes antagonistic bits of realities often brings pleasant surprises that I playfully exploit by associating acrylics. The work has a 50x40cm mat

Véronique Masquelier uses a wide variety of mediums, ranging from collage to sewing, and benefits from a solid artistic training, including a degree in visual arts and eight years of fine arts studies. She mixes techniques and styles: watercolor, acrylic, pastels, cyanotype, X-rays, and recycled objects, creating eclectic compositions with expressionist and sometimes surrealist accents. Through her works, she aims to convey a communicative joy, immerse the viewer in a vibrant universe, and arouse in her a deep emotion and an irresistible desire to "dance" in her creations.
