About this artwork
Vortex is a series of paintings in a small format that centers around energies. Each work is a whirlwind of intention and a meditation in itself, no two are alike, just as no two moments in time are alike. Each painting captures the energy of the moment it was created.
Vortex 13 is a cool crimson or burgundy. Much like any color, burgundy has both positive and negative attributes. Many people are fond of burgundy’s compassionate side, but they don’t… appreciate how shy it is. Moreover, though burgundy possesses unique qualities, it’s a control freak. Fortunately, burgundy’s favorable traits outweigh its unpleasant features.
Gallery wrapped canvas, sides are painted. Sealed with two coats of varnish. Ready to hang.

« Geometric abstract art with a good measure of colorful mixes thrown in. »
Veronica Russek is an artist based in Mexico whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States.
