“Missing Half” is part of the Urban Dreamer series — a visual journey through fragments of everyday life, transformed through energy, symbolism, and emotion.
The artwork is built upon an original author’s photograph, digitally processed and enhanced with hand-painted acrylic strokes, adding depth, texture, and a physical presence beyond the digital layer.
The neon palette contrasts with the raw urban background, expressing the feeling of searching… for the missing half — a moment suspended between reality and dream, movement and pause.
By elevating an ordinary everyday object, the piece turns it into a poetic symbol of connection, absence, and hope. Through color, rhythm, and gesture, the artwork invites the viewer to rebuild wholeness from what remains.

My name is Vesela Hadzhiyska and I am a visual artist from Bulgaria.
In my practice I connect abstraction, surrealism, and symbolism through acrylics, pastels, ink, photography, and mixed media. I hold a Master’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations, which helps me build a strong visual language and conceptual depth. I am the recipient of more than 30 international photography awards and have participated in group exhibitions in London. I am inspired by the dialogue between photography, painting, and design – each discipline enriching the other and opening new forms of expression. My vision is to create art that embodies beauty and harmony, carrying deep meaning and emotion, so that every viewer can discover their own feeling and answer within it.
