It is certainly only one reading among others, but art has this unique power: it does not freeze things, it opens them. Thus, each star becomes a door, each constellation a possible story, and each canvas an attempt to broaden our inner as well as our cosmic horizons.

Victor Abel, a Canadian artist living in Réunion Island, explores the relationship between material, gesture, and light. His work, rooted in research on colors, shapes, and contrasts, is characterized in particular by the use of metal supports and gold leaf gilding.
