It was through scientific literature that I conceived the Specters series, drawing particularly on the study of galactic forms. I sought to superimpose visible and invisible spectra to suggest the forces at work in a given stellar environment. The composition attempts to make perceptible the action of massive objects, their fields of influence, and the gravitational interactions that structure space. a real galaxy, situating the work within a precise cosmic cartography. Here, The Magellanic Clouds refers to these satellite galaxies and the complexity of the invisible relationships they maintain with their environment, balancing scientific rigor with pictorial interpretation.

Victor Abel, a Canadian artist living in Réunion Island, explores the relationship between material, gesture, and light. His work, rooted in research on colors, shapes, and contrasts, is characterized in particular by the use of metal supports and gold leaf gilding.
