About this artwork
This original canvas acrylic painting features delicate mandala designs and a serene color palette of soft blues, purples, and grays, creating a calming atmosphere. The artwork incorporates textured paste to add depth and dimension, while the birds are highlighted with silver leaf, catching the light beautifully and adding a touch of elegance. The intricate mandalas and silver accents make this piece perfect for adding a sophisticated, yet tranquil… vibe to any space.
I’m Victoria Shul, a contemporary artist based in London, originally from Ukraine. I work with acrylics, oils, gold leaf, textured paste, epoxy resin, and mixed media. My process is intuitive and emotional. I follow what I feel in the moment, expressing it through texture, layers, and symbolism. After the war in Ukraine began and I moved to London, painting became a way to process, to heal, and to stay grounded. It brought more honesty and emotional depth into my work. I explore themes like inner transformation, feminine energy, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. I want my art to be felt, not just seen. I’m self-taught, inspired by dreams, emotion, nature, and the silent language of color. My style moves between abstraction, symbolism, and something spiritual. At the heart of it, I create a connection to offer something real, honest, and deeply human.
