About this artwork
With sharp geometry and fluid golden lining, the figure is carved onto the canvas trough layers of acrylic and pastel. Intense reds dominate the composition interrupted by hypnotic green spirals and bright blue eyes. With gestural strokes, the structure appears constantly interrupted by its own elements, and the portrait is transformed into a symbolic space.
Inspired by expressionism and symbolism, the work of the artist explores how we perceive… the world. His paintings share his peculiar vision of humanity where identity is fragmented and emotional.
Balancing intensity with vulnerability, the painting invites into a psychological landscape charged with symbolic color and texture. The painting becomes a space where the figure exists as portrait, construction, and emotional presence.

He balances layers of pastel and acrylic to shape raw textures and colorful compositions. Every detail is meant to fragment a reality of his own: totemic faces, extravagant features, archaic lines and excessive colors.
His subjects are depicted distorted and unreadable, their faces dissolving in their own emotional conditions. Colors are the giveaway. They reveal a dark and decadent humanity, rooted in a sharp tension between presence and disappearance. The artist communicates this liminal state primarily through an unrefined and raw quality. Those intense textures allow the aesthetic aspect to turn into a language in itself,
