About this artwork
I have been always fascinated by Pre-Raphaelites and their symbolism, among the artworks I deeply enjoy is the ,, Vanity" by Frank Cowper. Everything in this artwork is filled with grace and beauty to me. The main character, her jewels and pose , detailing of her dress and the main symbol of vanity, her hand-mirror speaks silent about her nature.
When I was working on my piece I was thinking about creating a work based on the main… visual elements of the work that inspired me so much , but I wished she kept inside completely other message, her face and her lovely features should have been filled with profound love and tenderness for this world.

Poetry of Fleeting Moments
I paint because moments are fragile. A quiet breath beside water, a body resting in the silence of nature, a moment of sunlight on skin. Those moments appear gently , almost unnoticed, yet hold a profound sense of beauty and emotion. We often recognize the beauty of these moments only after they pass. This fragile beauty of the time passing is what I try to capture in my paintings.
I work as a figurative painter within the language of romantic realism, creating poetic visual stories inspired by such fragments of my life. They are my intimate experiences that carry a quiet emotional weight.
I celebrate the poetry of these fleeting moments , because our life is made of such moments- reminding us of a quiet joy, peace and connection that exist within the simple act of being present in the world.
