About this artwork
In my work, I capture the quiet harmony of nature in black and white. This image depicts a peaceful landscape where time seems to stand still. By avoiding color, I aim to highlight nature's texture and contrasts, inviting viewers to find a moment of calm in their hectic daily lives. My goal was to create a place of reflection and beauty that underscores the power of nature and its calming effect on the human soul.

Walter Adler, trained in design and photography, developed his career in the Rhine-Main area. He uses an experimental technique in which visual material is transferred onto aluminum dibond with a special varnish and printed on handmade washi paper. His style strives for playfulness, abstraction, and experimentation, beyond the concrete depiction of reality. Through his artistic vision, Adler represents resistance and rebellion against the constraints of existence.
