About this artwork
I created a series of short award-winning films that explore the potential temporal movement inherent in my life based figure drawings. The film, "movements of THE BODY," creates movements of the mind through movements of the body’s parts.
The figurative painting seen here was created by first drawing onto an animation cel and then painting onto the reverse side. When dry, the cel is placed over a coloured background and filmed.
