About this artwork
In the future, I believe art collectors will no longer need to frame and hang their physical artworks. They will display their art collections as digital manifestations inside synthetic environments. Therefore I've started creating a series of rooms that are built as homes for my figurative artworks to be displayed and collected in. Wayne Traudt is an award-winning artist based in Canada whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Portugal, the United States, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Egypt, France, Romania, India, etc. The human form plays a central role in his works and is his main source of inspiration. For Traudt, "the body’s infinite poses, variety, and beauty" captures his attention constantly. His minimalist figurative compositions are created with acrylics, pastels, and India ink on paper or canvas.
