About this artwork
‘Drift’ ontvouwt zich als een vibrerend landschap van kleur, textuur en innerlijke spanning. Blauwtinten domineren, doorkruist door krachtige zwarte lijnen en vurige accenten in rood, turquoise en geel. Dit schilderij werd gedurende drie jaar blootgesteld aan weer, tijd en toeval: zon, regen, sneeuw en wind lieten hun sporen achter. Verf werd losgewrikt, hout kwam aanwaaien, textiele resten nestelden zich op het doek. Boronski omarmde deze invloeden…
als deel van het creatieve proces.
