The work "The One" offers a glimpse into the fragile relationship between individuality and collectiveness. A single figure stands out in color from the multitude of uniform figures. Its place in the midst of the swarm seems both natural and fragile—driven by the desire for closeness and yet aware of a subtle difference.
The face, half-smiling, half-troubled, combines serenity with a hint of irritation. It bears traces of joy, masquerade, and vulnerability… simultaneously. The result is an image that oscillates between fascination and unease, revealing the ambivalence of human encounters.
One invites us to reflect on the tension between adaptation and independence, closeness and distance – a silent image about belonging and the experience of always being a bit on the outside.
This image brings energy and depth to any room and promotes an atmosphere in which thoughts and conversations flow freely.

"Painting means spontaneously following a gut feeling – an inner force that urges unbridled creation. It is a journey into the unknown, on which the dialogue with the painting already begins."
This is how Wirbelart describes her intuitive working method. By overpainting emotionally charged reds with layers of acrylic, oil pastel, and charcoal, she creates intricate human forms. She then highlights individual figures from the mass, bringing them into focus.
Her central theme is humanity – the individual who stands out from the norm and engages in relationships with others. She is particularly fascinated by the color red: powerful, deep, and full of emotion, like the embers of a fire. Her works are moving and thought-provoking – movement creates art, art creates movement.
Further training at the HBK Saar and the European Art Academy Trier shaped her work. She is a member of the artist collective Artfactory-Graz in Austria.
