About this artwork
A cold sea, a still sky, a rarefied fog that stretches across the horizon. The boats on the shore. They seem almost abandoned. A timeless season. Perhaps the need for a hug, to find someone lost in the fog. And together steal a boat and sail a new sea.

I was born in Sicily. The south and the Mediterranean are the roots of my soul and my feelings. I have a classical education. I could have been a doctor if I hadn't encountered theater. And in theater, my infinite journey into art begins. I am an actor and a director, a playwright and a writer. And I love using the verb "to be," because I have never in my life done something I am not. I love playing with light, a game I have nurtured by turning to photography, which led to an honorable mention at the IPA in Los Angeles in 2017. And in the play of light, I found painting, a language that allows me countless escapes, each of which brings me back to myself.
I exhibit in Italy and abroad, including Monte Carlo, Luxembourg, Berlin, Miami.
