About this artwork
In this sculpture, I wanted to convey a sense of calm and enveloping protection. The use of ceramic, with its delicate texture and sheen, gives the work an almost ethereal presence, capable of embracing the viewer. It is an invitation to find refuge in inner calm, an energy that will bring harmony and serenity to any open or private space in your home.

I was born in Sicily. The south and the Mediterranean are the roots of my soul and my feelings. I have a classical education. I could have been a doctor if I hadn't encountered theater. And in theater, my infinite journey into art begins. I am an actor and a director, a playwright and a writer. And I love using the verb "to be," because I have never in my life done something I am not. I love playing with light, a game I have nurtured by turning to photography, which led to an honorable mention at the IPA in Los Angeles in 2017. And in the play of light, I found painting, a language that allows me countless escapes, each of which brings me back to myself.
I exhibit in Italy and abroad, including Monte Carlo, Luxembourg, Berlin, Miami.
