About this artwork
This artwork is mainly made out of collage . After tearing them, I layered paper pieces, spray paint and acrylic . This piece is finished with a gel resin that gives the painting a high gloss finish .
The iconic R&B singer Alicia Keys were used as the artistic focus . One of here famous quote " Why give up before we try " was integrated in the artwork .
« As an artist, I don’t want to be defined by ONE style of art. I get bored easily, it’s why I always have this need to try new styles and change techniques. »
