Color walks where worry was supposed to be. Two figures drift through a patterned city, sheltered by bright umbrellas, accompanied by a small blue bird and an even smaller miracle: lightness. Painted on silk, the hues flow and settle with effortless grace, allowing spontaneity and tenderness to coexist. This work celebrates the quiet triumph of joy—unexpected, vivid, and impossible to ignore.
My silk paintings are wall… hangings.
Stretched over the stretcher, the sides are painted and ready to be hung.
The painted silk looks beautiful after steaming; the colors become brighter and more intense, and the silk's full sheen is restored.

Yelena Sidorova is a passionate painter based in the US whose love of creating developed as a child, when she would invent stories on paper with pencils and clay. Striving to convey emotions through her art, She composes works that carry poetic expressions of line and color that flow onto her silk and oil paintings.
