About this artwork
Imaginary composition representing cases that I draw daily at the bend of the streets of my city. Many elements and references are suggested there, such as these sketches of framed flowers. These patterns represent the first paintings I made in my grandmother's studio when I was very young.
There is also a tribute to the rapper GZA with a vinyl from his album Liquid Swords that I listened to a lot during my adolescence. With dominant reds, this… painting is a nod to the still lifes painted by impressionists such as Van Gaugh, Cezanne or Gauguin.
