Abstractions - curated by Charles Caldecott

A curation by Charles Caldecott, Art Curator at Period of Grace - This is a collection of work that shows normal forms as abstractions and also pure abstractions. What is abstraction? It draws away from visual reality and concentrates on visual shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks. The very word means drawing away from. The one work that is not completely abstract is the work by Michael Geiger. But the thick impasto of David Sollner's work is as is Reupke's lighter thinner use of this paint.
