A curation by Vlad Merariu, Curator at Dance Artworks Gallery - This collection reads dance through drawing - where a few marks can hold breath, weight, and velocity. In graphite, pencil, India ink, and charcoal, artists translate rehearsal and the in-betweens: ribbons retied, balance tested, a body settling before motion resumes. Contour sets structure; hatching finds rhythm; ink wash and purposeful blur open flow; charcoal deepens shadow and touch. With color restrained, contrast becomes choreography: lines glide, torsion gathers, and space clears like a held breath. From figurative notes to gestural diagrams, each sheet turns movement into presence - the page as studio, the mark as motion.
