A curation by Carla Gerbino, Independent Curator at - Waiting is one of the most essential forms of human experience: not a simple interval, but a space in which time loses linearity and bends towards what has yet to happen.
It is the silence that precedes, the distance that both separates and connects desire and fulfillment, an ambivalent condition that amplifies the meaning of every gesture. It can take the form of promise or uncertainty, and in this tension it reveals itself as fragile and powerful, intimate and collective. Waiting becomes the place where meaning is generated from the indeterminate, reminding us that the future is never neutral, but already inscribed in the present.
