A curation by Juliana Angulo, Art Historian, Curator, and Advisor at FAREX & Singulart - A collection exploring parallels between wildlife and human beings. Guided by a black-and-white palette, the series examines not only the relationship between animals and people, but also the contrast between photography and sculpture. A woman dressed in zebra patterns, a figure disguised as a rabbit beside a giraffe, an ape crossing its arms in a human-like posture, or sculptures of mythological hybrids, all challenge our perception of reality. Through portraits and close-ups of domestic and wild animals along with surreal imagery, this collection reflects not only on what separates us from these creatures, but also on what brings us together: emotion, instinct, and fragility. It invites us to admire the role of animals in our lives and ask ourselves what truly makes us human.
