About this artwork
In my artwork I show the encounter of urban personalities. These two angels met at the big Peter Lindbergh exhibition in Munich in 2017. The curly-haired angel on the left is Amber Valletta. A photo by Peter Lindbergh. She is a model and actress. The picture was taken in 1993, when she was 19 years old. This photo was taken 24 years later in this exhibition. Two time levels are reduced to one. They are standing opposite each other. Is their meeting…
a coincidence? Both have their hands casually in their pockets. Their body language is like a reflection. An unconscious communication is taking place. This composition brings a very special energy to every room, a mixture of elegance, strength and the unpredictable beauty of everyday life.
