Monday Blues: Abstractions - curated by Juliana Angulo

A curation by Juliana Angulo, Art Historian, Curator, and Advisor at FAREX & Singulart - Blue has long been employed throughout art history as a symbol for introspection, melancholy, and transcendence. It carries such deep meanings that French artist Yves Klein adopted this color as a primary medium for his work. Guided by a cool-hued palette, this collection takes the viewer on a journey through abstraction where color meets expression, minimalism, and geometry. These artworks appear both intuitive and structured, while their brushstrokes range from diffused layers to energetic spontaneous splashes. An atmospheric aura is projected across their surfaces, bringing a sense of serenity and strength to the notorious “Monday blues.”
